For two years, I've been lobbying legislators, educating students, and helping build a coalition in New Jersey to get environmental rights into our constitution. It's been an incredible learning experience for me, and given me the chance to educate and train so many students in environmental organizing via the NJ Student Sustainability Coalition, all with GAFTG's guidance. The through line through all of NJSSC's work is one belief: people power. But the fact is, when it comes to environmental rights, the power and rights of the people is not as powerful as we need them to be. I believe in the power of the Green Amendment to change that, and I believe in all of the great work in educating and empowering students that we're doing along the way. But we need your support!
