Through storytelling, the film will use Conrad as the beacon to shine the light on all people that share this and similar conditions.  This is not just about Conrad, but all the other kids that have similar experiences, and the people that work to make positive change happen.

It’s a story of resilience, courage, inclusion, and hope.  A Boy Named Conrad delves into a world where conventional notions of disability are challenged.

Funded by Conrad Smiles, the production team has begun filming and laying out the narrative.  We still need to raise funds to bring this project to fruition.

Once complete, we intend to submit to various film festivals around the world to help raise awareness for Pediatric Non-Fatal Drowning, advance the treatment, and stress the importance of everyday inclusion for those who survive.  Unfortunately, drownings still occur, but we can make a difference in care, quality of life, and impact on these individuals make on society.
