A fundraising event organized by Bucknell Management 101, Spring 2024, Company C "CommuniTee's" Class.

Funds raised will be used to add raised bed gardens to the Donald Heiter Community Center, including the beds, soil, and other supplies for planting vegetables. Participants in the Before/ After School Program & Summer Day Camp will learn the importance gardening as a sustainable food source. 

Risidual funds will remain with the Donald Heiter Community Center and will be used to annually to support the growing of fresh produce to be shared with participants and their families. 

CommuniTee’s mission is to promote and grow the local community through partnerships with the Lewisburg Community Garden and the Donald Heiter Community Center. Through our efforts, we strive to create a long-lasting sense of community and connection between individuals and the environment while concurrently combating food insecurity. In addition, we are hoping to raise enough money to have new raised beds installed at the Donald Heiter Community Center to continue to connect the community with the environment.
