Cruelty Stoppers Fund

The Cruelty Stoppers Fund was established as a way to offer reward money for turning in animal abusers. Additionally, the fund is used to support the rehabilitation of animal abuse victims. Here are some of the ways Cruelty Stoppers has made a difference in Northeast Kansas:

  • Supported Shy 38 farm sanctuary when they took in several roosters from a busted cockfighting ring in Topeka.
  • Provided 2 weeks worth of hay for Rainbow Meadows, a Flint Hills equine rescue that takes in mistreated horses.
  • Sponsored workshops to help train law enforcement officers on how to investigate, respond to, and prosecute cruelty cases.
  • Awarded grant funding to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter for their work with The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City on a major hoarding case.

Animals are being abused everyday in neighborhoods throughout our service area. With your support, we can raise awareness about cruelty, blood sports, and abuse. People who harm animals usually end up hurting people. Many of these crimes are linked to other illicit activities such as drugs, gang activity, and human trafficking. The Cruelty Stoppers Fund is here to send a message that inhumane crimes will not be tolerated in our area.

Join us in our fight against abuse. Make a tax deductible contribution to our Cruelty Stoppers Fund today.
