At H2OPE Lafayette, a student-led chapter of Bridge H2OPE based at Lafayette College in Easton, PA, we are on a mission to transform lives by providing something many of us take for granted: access to safe drinking water. More than two billion people worldwide are without this basic human necessity, and in East Africa, the situation is dire.

In Ethiopia alone, over 40% of the population lacks access to safe drinking water. We are proud to partner with Bridge H2OPE, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing clean and sustainable water solutions to rural Ethiopian communities. Together, we are working on building water wells that will serve entire villages, improving health and quality of life.

Our long-term vision is ambitious: to provide access to clean water to as many people as possible, starting in Ethiopia and expanding to neighboring countries.
