Underwrite the Founding Curriculum Retreat for Chosen Preparatory Academy

On February 27–28, 2026, a group of 25–30 master educators will gather in Houston for the first of three curriculum design retreats, shaping the academic foundation of Chosen Preparatory Academy, a new independent secondary school in development. This working retreat convenes experienced teachers, instructional leaders, and curriculum designers to begin building a rigorous, college-preparatory program that affirms student identity, cultivates confidence, and supports the development of the whole person. Grounded in Christian intellectual tradition and informed by Black diasporic intellectual and cultural traditions, the school’s academic approach integrates high expectations with deep care, purpose, and belonging.
