😭 Help us fund Chloe’s emergency procedure to remove a safety pin from her stomach!

Chloe is a recent capture; we just rescued her a few days ago after learning her family had moved out a year ago and left her roaming the streets. She had been limping and neighbors feeding her.

She was safely in her crate starting to feel a little more relaxed after cowering in the corner the last couple of days. She was gnawing on her bed and when she tore a bit of it, there was a SAFETY PIN inside of it. We don’t know why or how. Her foster saw it in her mouth right away and ran to her to grab it, but before she could Chloe started gagging and swallowed.

We rushed her to our vet and an xray shows an OPEN safety pin in her stomach. They need to attempt to remove it by scope immediately and if they can’t, they will need to do a full foreign body surgery.

The estimate range is $1700-$3300.
