ACTION-N-MOTION Community Outreach and Employment

Development Foundation, a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is

seeking $500,000 funding to empower disadvantaged

individuals, specificaly single parents of young children, by

equipping them with marketable skils in labor-intensive trades.

Our initiative seeks to address the barriers to economic

independence and self-sufficiency caused by limited access to

childcare and skil development opportunities.

Problem Statement

Many single parents in low-income communities struggle with

economic dependence and poverty due to inadequate access to

childcare and training programs. This creates a detrimental cycle

that affects both the parents and their children. ACTION-N-

MOTION aims to dismantle these barriers by combining

vocational training with supportive services, enabling

participants to break the cycle of dependency.

Program Description

Our program offers comprehensive, hands-on training in various

skiled trades, including carpentry, plumbing, residential and

commercial electrical work, and forklift operation. Additionaly,

we wil provide on-site childcare during training sessions,

ensuring that participants can focus on their skil development

without worry. Graduates wil receive essential tools to start their

careers or smal businesses.

Goals and Objectives

- Train 100 individuals annualy in skiled trades.

- Provide safe and reliable childcare for single parents during

training sessions.

- Ensure that at least 80% of graduates receive certification in

their respective trades.

- Achieve a 75% placement rate for participants securing

employment or starting smal businesses within one year of

graduation.
