Since 2011, DCIS 411 has served as a hub for Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS) education and resources. On August 21, 2026, DCIS 411 became an officially incorporated California nonprofit public benefit corporation.

The mission of DCIS 411 is to empower women with evidence-based education about Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (DCIS), increase awareness of overdiagnosis and overtreatment, educate patients and professionals about established and emerging breast imaging technologies, and share evidence-based information about lifestyle factors related to breast cancer risk.

We believe women deserve more than a diagnosis — they deserve information, options, and a voice in decisions about their own bodies. That’s why we’re committed to making this education accessible to all, supporting personalized, informed choices that respect each woman’s values, goals, and circumstances.

With Your Support, We Will:

Stay connected to the latest research by attending conferences and engaging with the advocacy community
Create and distribute educational resources that make complex DCIS information easier to understand
Expand our reach through media relationships and partnerships with breast cancer advocacy organizations
Keep our community informed with ongoing research and educational updates across our website, social media, and Facebook groups
Pursue corporate grants to expand our programs and reach
Build strategic partnerships and alliances to strengthen the DCIS education and advocacy community
Establish 501(c)(3) status, allowing eligible donors to receive tax-deductible benefits once approved
