Detachment 607 Cadet Officer Association (COA):

The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Cadet Officer Association is a student-led organization within a detachment that aims to enhance the overall experience of cadets involved in the AFROTC program. The association serves as a platform for cadets to develop leadership skills, foster camaraderie, and contribute to the success of the detachment. They organize various activities such as community service initiatives, fundraising for the detachment, and social events, which help in promoting esprit de corps amongst cadets. The AFROTC Cadet Officer Association also acts as a liaison between the cadet wing and detachment leadership, advocating for the needs and interests of the cadets while upholding the values of the Air Force.

FSU ROTC Cadre:

FSU ROTC Cadre is a NC incorporated 501(C)(3) charitable non-profit. It is organized to support and promote the FSU ROTC programs and to recognize and honor former FSU ROTC affiliates and others who have served honorably and meritoriously. The “cadre” moniker was carefully selected to embrace FSU ROTC and other military alumni, ROTC cadets (college and H.S.) as well as friends and supporters of the FSU ROTC Cadre organization. In 2021, several retired Air Force officers who are among FSU Detachment 607 original dozen or so commissioned officers, agreed to study an appropriate way to celebrate the quickly approaching 50^th anniversary of FSU’s officer commissioning program. Ultimately, their thoughts grew beyond a simple event and morphed into organizing an effort that would “live and give” indefinitely. Thus, the inception of “FSU ROTC CADRE.”
