The Village Basket is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization serving people in Kenya. Our story begins with an invitation by a local pastor to come and meet with the village elders or community leaders. This meeting helps us to determine how we can help their community. Our three main services that we provide are : Literacy Training, Micro-Loan assistance and Discipleship Training for community groups.

Our programs empower people through income generation, literacy training, and personal discipleship to achieve self- sufficiency, become productive members in their communities and reach their full potential.

The 30/30 campaign is designed to challenge 30 people to give $30 dollars per month for 12 months to the Village Basket. Our goal is to raise $10,800 which will help us to fund our programs for the rest of the year. This is a great opportunity to make a radical difference in someone's life.
