The Dayton Home Repair Network (DHRN) is a cohort of organizations collaborating to provide home repair, weatherization, and energy efficiency services to low-to-moderate income households in the Dayton region. The network's goal is to leverage shared resources to more closely match the needs of each house.
Donations to this campaign will go to Dayton Energy Collaborative's (DEC) gap-funding program. Gap funding projects are projects no network partner can pay for and/or that their funding is restricted from paying for. These are often healthy and safety-related projects that, if not completed, would cause network partners to walk away from the house. Common projects include mold remediation and pest removal. The fund was set up to eliminate deferral cases.
DEC manages this fund, with approval for projects coming from DHRN representatives.
