The REACH Group Special Education Advocacy Scholarship Fund

Our goal is to eliminate financial barriers that prevent families from accessing expert special education advocacy services. Through the Foundation, we provide financial support to families in need, ensuring every child can reach their full potential. We also aim to raise awareness about the critical role advocacy plays in the lives of children and families, building a network of support through community outreach and collaboration.

Mission Statement:  The REACH Foundation is dedicated to empowering families by providing the knowledge, tools, and support necessary to navigate the complexities of education and mental health services. We are committed to inclusivity, ensuring that no family is denied advocacy services due to financial constraints. Our mission is to equip families with the resources needed to advocate for their children and ensure their educational needs are fully met.

Core Values Integrated with Our Mission

Honesty: We simplify your child’s diagnosis and educational needs, offering a transparent path forward and ensuring you are fully informed and prepared.

Education: Our advocates stay updated on the latest laws and trends, ensuring that we bring the most current, effective strategies to meet your family’s needs.

Collaboration: We work closely with families and schools, fostering transparent partnerships that empower parents to confidently advocate for their children.

Commitment: Our support extends beyond the child—we recognize the emotional challenges families face and provide holistic guidance and care through every step of the advocacy process.

Foundation Impact: Since our establishment in May 2023, The REACH Foundation has awarded over $14,000 in financial assistance, benefiting fifteen families throughout the 2023-2024 academic year. This support has enabled access to essential advocacy services such as:

  • Educational-Related Medical Needs: Guidance through complex medical and educational processes.
  • Alternative Educational Placements: Support in identifying and securing non-traditional learning environments tailored to the student’s needs.
  • Disability Advocacy: Ensuring students with disabilities receive the necessary supports and protections to meet their educational goals.
