The Dartmouth Cabin in Lake Tahoe needs your love and attention

After more than 70 years of hosting the club’s adventures in the Sierra, the cabin needs some critical work to protect it for the next generation. We are asking for your help on a once in a generation fundraising campaign to preserve the cabin for young alumni and years to come.

The small core of the club has done what we can for many years, but there’s a huge extended network of Alumni who are just glad to know the cabin is still there. Do you love the cabin? It’s your turn to step up, “’Lest the old traditions fail” in the Sierra.

Our goal is to raise $200,000 to increase the safety of the cabin with:

Up to date electrical & plumbing systems
A defensible space from forest fires
New roof and fire escape windows
Dozens of other small improvements
