BHSS Theatre South and Stages Bloomington are combining forces to present The Lighting Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical in the spring of 2022. This exciting collaboration between the two organizations is allowing for a cast and crew made up of high school students from across the community and combines the creative and administrative resources of the staff of Stages Bloomington and BHSS South Theatre Department.

Our design, creative and technical crew for this show brings together a talented team with experience working at the highest level of the Bloomington theatre community with connections to IU Theatre, The Bloomington Playwrights Project, Cardinal Stage and more.

This show will be costing more than $20,000 to present and both of our organizations. We are striving to raise 25% of the budget through crowd sourcing, 25% through grants support and 50% through ticket sales.
