On behalf of BHcare, and the clients and communities we serve, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your steadfast support of The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, a program of BHcare in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The impact of your donation will directly impact clients like Kim and her children, who were trapped in an abusive relationship. Kim reached out to The Umbrella Center, where advocates helped her file a restraining order, obtain legal representation, apply for cash assistance and find a safe and secure apartment where she and her children could begin to heal from the trauma and abuse, they endured.   

Last year, The Umbrella Center staff provided more than 48,000 domestic services to nearly 5,900 adults and their children. Through the generosity of donors like you, we continue to deliver safety for those in danger, protect innocent children and advocate for victims to live safe, happy lives and break the cycle of abuse.
