Jeter Middle FFA has arranged for a container to be dropped off in the lower parking lot for Shelby Forest residents to dispose of used tires in an environmentally friendly way.  Residents (no businesses, please) may make an appointment to drop off up to eight tires.  This is your opportunity to finally dispose of those tires you see on the side of the road every day (or the tires behind your garage or in your barn).  Memphis Tire Recyclers will process those tires into Tire Derived Aggregate (TDA), Tire Derived Fuel (TDF) or crumb rubber keeping them out of the landfill.

This is an expensive process and we are asking our supporters to make donations to help defray the costs.  We suggest a donation of $5 per tire, but any amount will be appreciated.
