Willis Dady's 12th annual 5k/10k race, The Dady Dash, is taking place on October 5th, 2024 at the Prairie Park Fishery!

Thank you for joining us for this fund-and-awareness raising event to benefit our agency's mission. Check out race details, routes, and registration information below:

PRE-REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.

Day-of Registration starts at 8:30AM on October 5th! Join us at Prairie Park Fishery this Saturday to walk/run to end homelessness!

$30 Registration for the 5k walk, 5k run, or 10k run gets you a timed spot in the race! Included with your registration are:

Race Bib
Shoe Chip for timing
Dady Dash T-shirt

IF YOU REGISTERED AFTER 9/15 -- preferred t-shirt sizes and availability is not guaranteed. T-shirts for registrants after 9/15 are first come first serve the morning of the race. If you have questions, please contact Allison at 319-362-7555 or via email at allison@willisdady.org

Check-in begins at 8:30AM at Prairie Park Fishery. You'll be able to pick up your bib and chip from the timers right after check-in. All races will start at 9AM

AWARDS

Awards will be presented in staggering stages for 5k and 10k race results.

ROUTES

The 5K Run and Walk is a partial loop around the Prairie Park Fishery (1.07 miles) with an out (.725 mile) and back (.725 mile) on the Sac and Fox Trail, returning to the Fishery trail (.58 mile) for a total of 5K. The 10K Run is a partial loop around the Prairie Park Fishery (1.07 miles) with an out (2.275 miles) and back (2.275 miles) on the Sac and Fox Trail, returning to the Fishery trail (.58 mile) for a total of 10K. The route will use the bridge around the 3-mile marker on this map instead of going down the ravine, as shown in the map image below the route outline.
