Join CFRI and Friends for our Fifth Annual Dance Like a Fool Dance-a-Thon!⁠

This 3-hour virtual dance party brings together people to have fun while dancing, all to create community and support CFRI’s wellness program. No actual dancing skills are required!

The Details:

Date: Friday, February 20
Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm PT (9:00 pm – midnight ET).
Register: as a solo dancer or gather your friends and family to participate as a team. To join an existing team, click on "Join a Team" or "Fundraise." You will see your choices of teams to join, or you can create your own.
Cost: Free! But we encourage people to have their friends and families sponsor them, as all donations will support CFRI’s weekly free virtual wellness classes.
Reward: In addition to the obvious reward of dancing with friends from around the country, those who raise $100 will receive a very cool Dance Like a Fool commemorative t-shirt!

Our Dance Like a Fool event is held in memory of beloved CFRI staff member Danielle Mandella, who created the event in 2022. Dani, who lived with CF and had received a lung transplant, lost her battle in late 2023.

About The Cystic Fibrosis Research Institute: CFRI was formed in 1975 by a small group of CF family members whose children were not expected to survive their teen years. Initially focused on funding research, CFRI has expanded its programs to provide education, advocacy, and psychosocial programs and services to those with CF, as well as their families and caregivers.
