My name is Lexi Cottingham and a senior at Dee-Mack High School. I am the senior captain on the varsity basketball team! I am fundraising for Camp Hope throughout my senior season! I am very fortunate and have the opportunity to play the game I love. Basketball is a way I get to escape and enjoy being a kid. Camp Hope is a way children with cancer have that opportunity as well. We have seen Camp Hope impact kids and family’s in our community and surrounding teams and towns we have played! I want every kid to be able to enjoy being a kid just like I do on the court. So this season is bigger than the game of basketball but for those that wish to be able to play.
