PRC Denim and Diamonds Giving Campaign
Thank you for supporting the Patapsco River (MD) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated!
Your contribution supports the service that the Patapsco River (MD) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated provides to the Baltimore County community. Our signature umbrella program, the Ruth Elmore Howard Memorial Journey to Adulthood and Making a Mark - JAMM - provide life skills training to teenagers in and aging out of foster care. Held in partnership with The Children's Home of Catonsville, JAMM sessions include discussions on money management, mental and physical health, self care healthy relationships and exposure to arts and culture.
We work with several community partners to provide health education and resources on breast cancer, mental health, physical health and Black maternal health. We also host blood pressure screenings and distribute free blood pressure monitors. In addition, every March, we host a sold-out "Women In The Arts" program that gives the community front-row access to some of the area's most remarkable talent.
In addition to community programming, funds will go to providing educational support for Baltimore County students at our nation's Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Our PRC Scholars program provides 4-year scholarships and pairs each scholar with a mentor to help support them throughout college and beyond.
