Campaign cover for Reed Family

Reed Family

For over 15 years, Denny and Sarah Reed have faithfully served in ministry across East Africa, following God’s call to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. Through prayer and obedience, the Lord revealed a deep and urgent need among men trapped in drug and alcohol addiction.

What began with simple acts—building relationships, walking alongside men in their struggles, bringing them to church, and connecting them to rehabilitation—has grown into a powerful movement of transformation.

In 2024, the Reeds established Kipepeo Ministries (“butterfly” in Swahili), a Christ-centered ministry rooted in the belief that no one is beyond the redeeming love of God. Over the past year, more than 30 men have given their lives to Jesus, many now discipled, connected to local churches, and supported as they rebuild their lives.

God has since placed a clear vision on their hearts: to launch the first Christ-centered inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in the Kilimanjaro region. This 3–6 month program will address both spiritual and practical freedom—helping men encounter Christ, break free from addiction, and walk forward as new creations.

We invite you to prayerfully partner with Kipepeo Ministries and be part of the transformation God is bringing to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania.
