Adrian Rea Literacy Center is excited to host our first ever Adult Spelling Bee!

The Adult Spelling Bee is a fun, spirited fundraiser that brings together the community to compete in a lively spelling showdown — all in support of adult literacy. This event celebrates learning, community spirit, and the joy of words, while raising critical funds to support our adult learners.

Event Highlights:

Teams of 2-3 people will compete to be the ultimate spelling champions
Competitive rounds with engaging word challenges
Fun, engaging audience activities in between rounds
Team awards
Dinner and drinks

This event is for adults 18+.

Adrian Rea Literacy Center provides English literacy tutoring to adults 18+ who wish to improve their reading, writing, oral and digital literacy skills. ARLC provides services to individuals who speak English as a first language, and those who speak English as a second language. Adult learners meet weekly 1:1 with volunteer tutors. ARLC also provides ESL classes to new English speakers.
