Dichotomize Me!

A new play written by True Smith and directed by Megan Dille is an official selection of the 6th Annual Denver Fringe Festival. "As a woman attempts to cope with the loss of her mother, she becomes obsessed with creating art that depicts string theory. Her obsession deepens, and her inner artistic world becomes external, forcing her to face herself. “Dichotomize Me!” Is a new, immersive play that channels the principles of “theatre of cruelty” by cutting open the human condition."

We need your help to reach our fundraising goal and bring this play to life!

The first $300 dollars donated will purchase second hand, sustainable yarn and string to create an immersive landscape depicting string theory as our characters navigate how they connect to each other and themselves.

The next $200 dollars donated will purchase props, and string skin costumes.

The remaining funds go towards professional photography, videography, and promotion for our live performances this June!

About The Moot Point Project:
The Moot Point Project is a new theatre company based in Denver. Our mission is to present relevant, experimental, absurdist, and engaging theatre, demonstrating that the boundaries of theatre are “A Moot Point.” Founded by roommates Megan Dille and True Smith, Moot Point addresses the need for unusual and unique theatre currently lacking in the front range. What is a Zine?: MAGAZINE especially : a noncommercial, often homemade, or online publication usually devoted to specialized and often unconventional subject matter. You can expect a handmade physical Zine about the play and more on string theory from our Dramaturg Kit OR behind the scenes content from the cast and crew.
