As a homeschool alumnus, I celebrate what is beautiful about homeschooling, but I feel strongly about the ways our country's lax homeschooling laws empower unchecked child abuse and fail to protect children from the worst outcomes. CRHE is the only organization in the United States that fights for homeschooled children's right to thrive in a safe, healthy educational environment. I'm proud to serve as CRHE's board fundraising chair.
