🔥 Meet Ember — Joyful, Beautiful, and Forever Cherished 🔥

Ember joined I Am Dog Rescue as a 4-month-old puppy in 2020 and quickly stole every heart. Despite orthopedic challenges and seizure-like episodes, Ember is a happy, playful girl who loves to run, snuggle, and shine. After consulting multiple specialists, we chose compassion over surgery—and Ember became the very first pup in Mike’s Forever Fosters program.

Today, Ember lives a full, love-filled life with her devoted foster family. She’s crate-trained, housebroken, and knows her basic commands (especially if treats are involved!). She eats from an elevated feeder in the dining room, enjoys car rides, and walks beautifully on leash—unless a rabbit crosses her path. Ember is food-motivated, snuggly, and protective, with a playful streak and a soft spot for squeaky toys (the noisier, the better). Her favorites include Benebones, pancake-flavored treats from 3 Dog Bakery, and her beloved cheeseburger squeaky toy.

Though she can be anxious and prefers her space around other dogs during mealtime, Ember patiently waits for her treats and thrives with gentle guidance. She’s surrounded by love, structure, and ongoing medical care—all made possible by donors like you.
