The Sherwood Community Chamber Choir received 501(c)(3) status in 2021. We are an auditioned, volunteer chorus whose goal is to enrich the Greater Olney community and its members through choral singing and concerts.

In Fall 2022, we launched a non-auditioned Youth Choir for 4-6th graders, and in fall 2024, a second Youth Choir for 6–8th graders will begin. These choirs serve to fill the need for singing opportunities for children in the area.

SCCC and the Youth Choirs perform in two concerts per year. Starting in 2023, we have been joined by the Sherwood High School Chamber Singers, led by Director & Choral Teacher Emily Chu.

Rent performance & rehearsal spaces
Provide need-based scholarships for Youth Choir singers
Hire phenomenal & experienced directors, managers, and accompanists for our Youth Choirs
