Every dachshund that comes into DARE gets the same promise: WE'VE GOT YOU!

Some come to us as seniors who lost their person. Some need surgery, dental work, or a set of wheels. Some just need someone to show them that couches are for napping and humans are pretty great. Whatever they need, we figure it out — together.

Dachshund Adoption Rescue & Education (DARE) has been rescuing and rehoming dachshunds and dachshund mixes across Florida since 2003. We have no shelter building and no paid staff. Just a network of foster homes, a crew of volunteers who keep showing up, and a community that makes it all possible.

That community includes you.

Your gift covers the real stuff:

🐾 Vet care — exams, vaccines, spay/neuter, and microchips

🐾 Medical cases — surgeries, dental work, and back care (hello, IVDD)

🐾 Foster support — food, supplies, and everything a dog needs while they wait for their family

🐾 Senior and special-needs dogs — the ones who need a little extra and deserve every bit of it

🐾 3,000+ dachshunds rescued since 2003

🐾 100% volunteer-run — no salaries, no building

🐾 501(c)(3) nonprofit | EIN: 14-1908205 | Donations are tax-deductible

One-time or monthly, every gift helps a dachshund get from "where do I go?" to "I'm home."

Thank you for being part of the pack. 🧡
