Families Moving Forward is Durham's largest shelter and program for families in the crisis of homelessness.

Individuals like you believe in the importance of making sure every child in Durham doesn't have to carry the burden of not knowing where they will sleep tonight. Our two-generational approach to ending family homelessness provides intensive case management, enriching programming, educational and workforce development, and family-specific goals that aim to increase self-sufficiency, secure permanent housing, and create a stronger Durham community.
