Arkansas Children's Business Fair Academy
The Arkansas Children's Business Fair Academy is a structured program aimed to equip young individuals ages 6-18 with the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to embark on entrepreneurial endeavors while contributing positively to their communities and the mindset to succeed in the evolving marketplace.
This 8 week program is designed to provide comprehensive entrepreneurship education, practical business experience, and opportunities for community engagement. Participants will attend 8 workshops over 2 months, complete 1 monthly community service assignments, and receive financial incentives, including a $75 monthly stipend, $50 community service assignment and an additional $25 per workshop completed.
Over the next five years, the Arkansas Children's Business Fair Academy envisions establishing a dynamic youth entrepreneurship ecosystem that:

Cultivates Business Acumen: Equips participants with essential business skills through immersive workshops and real-world applications.

Provides Practical Experience: Offers hands-on opportunities to create, launch, and manage entrepreneurial ventures, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical execution.

Fosters Community Engagement: Encourages active participation in community service, instilling a sense of social responsibility and civic duty.

Establishes a Youth Entrepreneurship Market: Creates a sustainable platform where young entrepreneurs can continuously showcase and grow their businesses, contributing to the local economy and inspiring peer innovation.
By the end of the 12-week program, participants will have:

Created and launched their own small business at the Arkansas Acton Children’s Business Fair.
