SoundBridge Foundation is a Champaign-Urbana–based nonprofit working to strengthen our local live-music ecosystem from the ground up. We believe music isn’t just entertainment — it’s infrastructure for belonging, expression, economic vitality, and community wellbeing.

Our mission is simple:
to support musicians, venues, and creative partners so that C-U remains a vibrant, inclusive place for live music to thrive.

What We Do

🎶 Artist & Venue Grants
Small but meaningful micro-grants that help musicians record, promote, and perform — and help venues offer more live music.

🎤 Creative Development & Paid Opportunities
Songwriter sessions, collaborative events, and opportunities that give artists space to grow and get paid for their craft.

🏛️ Community-Driven Events
Partnerships and programs that bring people together through live music and strengthen the cultural heartbeat of Champaign- Urbana. 

🌈 Safe & Inclusive Spaces
We work intentionally to create environments where emerging and underrepresented musicians can find encouragement, mentorship, and belonging.
