OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE DUCK DERBY

Presented by the Friends of Red Jacket Community Center (the “Presenter”).

When you purchase your “duck adoption", your name will be paired with a unique number for every duck adopted. Prizes will be in the form of cash or gift cards from business sponsors.
Presenter reserves the right, at its sole option, to substitute prizes of comparable value.
The entry portion of each race ticket must be completely filled out and delivered to the Presenter, or an authorized representative of the Presenter, or mailed to the Presenter at the address set forth in paragraph four above and actually received by the Presenter prior to the race for a ticket to be eligible to win any prize. No other tickets are eligible to win any prize. Entrants assume the risk of non-delivery of any entries to Presenter or an authorized representative of Presenter.
Winners will be announced on April 26, 2025 after the race. Entrants will, where necessary, also be contacted by phone, text, or email. Winners need not be present to win. A list of race winners will be posted on Facebook.
Each winner has sole responsibility for paying any and all taxes and similar fees on any prize(s) won and must authorize the deduction of such taxes, if any, from the prize(s) to the extent required by law. No cash equivalent prizes will be provided in lieu of the designated prizes.
By entering, entrants release the Presenter and its members, directors, agents, employees, and other related entities from any and all liability with respect to prizes.
By entering, winners consent to promotional use of their names and likeness without additional compensation.
Chances of winning depend on the total number of qualified entries.
This event is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
The conduct of the race, the determination of race winners, all decisions and interpretations of rules and regulations will be made by the Presenter and its judgment is final.
The Duck Derby and its logo are registered trademarks of the Presenter and no other person or entity is authorized to copy or otherwise use them without the Presenter's express written consent.
A copy of these rules and regulations is available from the Presenter by writing to Friends of the Red Jacket Community Center at PO Box 92, Shortsville NY 14548.
If the Presenter determines, in its sole discretion, that the event cannot occur at the scheduled time for any reason, then the Presenter can postpone the event to another date and time by public announcement thereof.
The duck will remain the property of The Friends of the Red Jacket Community Center.
