Our goal is to serve 1,000 members in the Matrescence Center by 2025. We believe in creating systems of care adjacent to but separate from the systemic healthcare systems that cause fatal outcomes for our community. With the Matrescence Center we focus on creating an experience by and for Black and Brown mothers to nuture our health, wellness, and community connections. Members will receive access to:

The Matrescence Center exist to tackle the growing crisis of Black and Brown mothers and babies in Kansas suffering from preventable health complications in pregnancy/childbirth. We are leading the fight for change while supporting Black and Brown mothers & babies. At the Matrescence Center, we support and uplift one another, fight for reporductive justice, and take the time to care for ourselves.
