Get Delaware Reading Summer is a statewide, collective-impact strategy designed to:

• Stop summer reading loss and keep kids on track academically. 
• Provide access to books, literacy activities, and trained, near-peer literacy mentors and educators during the months when students need it most. 
• Support families with easy-to-use tools to build reading habits at home. 
• Focus efforts where they matter most, high-need communities experiencing the greatest risk of summer slide.

This initiative helps ensure children return to school stronger, not further behind.
