Blessing's Welding Career

Our friend Blessing has already taken courageous steps toward transforming his future. With the help of past donations, Dreambridge Africa supported him in moving to a new city, where he now has safe, affordable housing. On August 15th, he received the keys to his apartment. Since then, thanks to the kindness of donors, we’ve been able to provide him with basic kitchen supplies and a bed. His house, once empty, is slowly becoming a home!

Even more exciting, Blessing has secured an apprenticeship with a respected, highly-skilled welding mentor. His apartment is within walking distance of the workshop, making this opportunity both sustainable and life-changing. Now, he’s ready to begin his training, but there are still a few final needs to meet before he can fully begin this new chapter: protective welding gear, a few more household essentials (like chairs, bedding, a fan, etc.), and the cost of the six-month apprenticeship itself. Altogether, these needs total just $300.

$300 may not seem like much, but for Blessing and his young family, it represents the chance at a stable career, financial independence, and hope for the future.
