Most of us don’t think twice about visiting our doctor for routine checkups or when we are sick. We consider access to quality healthcare our right, not a privilege. The truth is that having a family doctor is a dream for many of our most vulnerable neighbors right here in our community.

Upstate Family Health Center opened its doors in 2017, welcoming individuals and families of all backgrounds, including those who are uninsured, refugees, or immigrants. No one is turned away from access to primary care, screenings, vaccinations, mental health services, or school-based care.

Serving over 8,000 patients in Utica, Rome, Waterville, and throughout the Mohawk Valley, we are on a mission to make our community healthier and lower the cost of healthcare for all. Rather than visiting the hospital emergency room when someone is sick, Upstate Family Health Center has become our community’s family doctor.
