People’s Freedom Farm

The People's Freedom Farm is a project of REAL that is focused on producing clean, nutritious, and culturally relevant foods for the communities we serve in Pine Hills & Parramore. We tend to the farm every Saturday from 9am - 11am.

Join us as we continue to build infrastructure, secure our resources, and overall improve our operations here on the farm.

Material needs:

We have 3 door commercial refrigerator that needs some repairs to improve efficiency and reduce constant need for maintenance. 

Soil & compost resources have become less accessible in our area so we are looking to improve our compost production capabilities on site. For this we need around 100 cinderblocks.

Temporary repairs for our storage space are needed as summer approaches. We need both large tarps and tie downs to keep out the rain. 

Native plants to fill our perennial space!

Irrigation supplies are needed including hose repair and new drip line.
