Bonjour!

I am one of the Campus Directors for Ecole Francaise Greater Boston. Our playgrounds are in dire need of maintenance and renovation. They have seen close to 15 years of wear, tear, and tough love that comes with preschool-aged children.

This year I am running the Boston Marathon to help raise funds to rebuild and restore our beloved play space.

I am running not only to support this great cause. I am running because I can. My life changed in 2013 when the bombs went off at the finish line. Thanks to the amazing first responders so many lives were saved that day, including my mom and dad’s.

I’m training very hard preparing for the race. When I get tired, I remember those who can’t run and what they would give to have this simple gift I too often take for granted. I run for my parents and all those who were affected, including those who lost their lives. I run to honor all those whose livelihood was taken away from them. I run to honor those who cared for the victims, survivors, and their families.

Since 2013, I have dedicated my runs to raise awareness and to support a variety of causes including Mass General's Emergency Response Team, Multiple Sclerosis, Logan's Sidekicks, and Autism.

This year I am running to give our children the safe place to run and play that they deserve.
