With the One Above: Help Us Feed, Shelter & Heal Lives in Congo

For 30 years, the people of eastern Congo have suffered in silence.

Over 7 million lives lost. Mass rapes are used as a weapon of war. Entire villages were wiped out. Generations of children are abandoned in the streets, with no safety, no food, and no future.

When the city of Goma fell in January 2025, it changed everything. Banks closed. People fled. Food ran out. I watched my own family escape with their lives, and I realized that idealism wasn’t enough anymore.

I used to believe nonprofits weren’t the answer. But this wasn’t theory. It was real. It was urgent. So we created Na Juu, which means "With the One Above," a nonprofit committed to saving lives now and building a future that breaks the cycle of violence.

What We’re Doing

Emergency Food Distribution to families trapped without access to basic supplies
Safe Spaces for Children and Women fleeing trauma and displacement
Programs for Healing, Education, and Job Training that restore dignity and purpose
Community-Based Development led by Congolese youth trained to be mentors and builders

Our Goal: $37,000

This will allow us to:

Feed 100+ families for 3–6 months
Launch the first healing + mentoring center
Train our youth team to rebuild their communities
Begin the legal and infrastructure work for long-term change
