International Transgender Day of Visibility

We are excited to honor the Edmonds School District belief in "being inclusive and our need to become more gender-inclusive and supportive of 2SLGBTQIA+ students, families and staff."

Come join the following events at Edmonds Heights as we recognize International Transgender Day of Visibility (3/31):

Wednesday 3/26, 11am-2pm - Poster making in the main hallway
Thursday 3/27, 11am-2pm - Poster making in the main hallway
Monday 3/31, 11am-2pm - International Transgender Day of Visibility crafting and learning in the library
Button making
"Kandi" Bracelet making
Educational slideshow and/or video viewing
Tuesday 4/1, 11am-2pm - International Transgender Day of Visibility crafting and learning in the library

If you're a secondary student or adult community member who is available to volunteer for any 1-3 hour "shifts" on any/all of those dates, please reach out to Joy MacTavish-Unten, [email protected], to sign-up.

Funds raised will be used for supplies, as well as purchasing additional events, resources, and books for our community.

We also have a variety of enamel pins that we are offering on a donation basis. Recommended donation is $2-10 per pin.
These will be available (as supplies last) during all of the above events, and you can also email Joy to make arrangements outside of those times.
