Great news! We are building a new library and community center FOR YOU! With a federal grant for $4.25 million and a donated property to build on, we are ready to start the Tri-County Library and Community Center Construction Project.
This new facility will be a hub for learning, social connection, and community programs, addressing critical needs for physical and digital accessibility in Fremont and surrounding areas. The building design will focus on sustainability to be cost-efficient and serve our community for decades to come.
Why we need your donations: The grant covers the building, high-speed internet, and library essentials, but the vision is to make an accessible, functional, inspiring space for everyone in the community. If you're excited to support the project, help us outfit dedicated areas for seniors, teens, and children:
- Children's indoor play center
- Collaborative teen zone
- Senior center area
- Commercial kitchen
- STEAM makerspace room
- Meeting room and study space
- Telehealth room
- Auditorium / Multiuse room
- Community garden
Every donation counts — help us make it happen! Learn more about the project: https://fremontpl.org/tri-county-library-and-community-center/
