Story
The University of Miami Entrepreneurship Program recently ranked #13 in the country by the Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine. Michael Wilson, the Director of Entrepreneurship Programs and lecturer at UMiami, has innovated the program to include the concept of "Polyneering". Polyneering is a teaching framework to ignite a pioneering spirit by using an entrepreneurial mindset, a design-thinking skillset, and an engineering toolset through a pollinating process.
Entrepreneurship students can come together with other business and engineering students, along with all other majors, to raise money to accelerate their own long term goals— to advance their education and support the programs needed to experience what is takes to build and design a business. Polyneering takes what students around the country are already learning about starting a business, and promotes the necessities of building and designing as well.
Essentially, with the help of all of you, the Miami Entrepreneurship Department can climb to the top in the country. We will be reaching for a new course, new concepts, and greater experiences to advance the entire program to the next level in education.
