It's that time of year again! EVkids is still going strong and we're thrilled to host our annual Gala again. As you all know, EVkids has been close to my heart since signing up to be a tutor as a Freshman at Harvard. I spent 4 years in college tutoring Yolanda, and I've stayed close to EVkids since through activity support, donations, and now as a Board Member. EVkids empowers inner-city Boston youth with the skills and confidence needed to realize their potential, done by matching low-income, academically vulnerable students (grades 3-12) with a college student. Tutees and tutors meet weekly throughout the tutor’s college tenure and we have now launched our College Success Program for tutees as they continue their journey through college.
