Bridger Folk Music Society presents world-renowned Irish fiddler Sorcha Costello and concertina player Mary MacNamara, a mother and daughter duo, are coming to Ogden! Their music is deeply rooted in the East Clare regional style of Irish traditional music, with its trademark rhythm and swing. Come enjoy a gorgeous evening of music.

  How to bring style, character, and individuality into your music.
  
  Sorcha and Mary are both well-known for being exponents of the East Clare style of traditional Irish music. In this co-facilitated workshop, Mary and Sorcha will teach, discuss, and demonstrate how each person can use their instrument as a means of self-expression, creating their own style through elements such as dynamics, ornamentation, and rhythm.
Irish Music Session: 6:00 pm
- Price: free. Musicians are welcome to participate. Others are welcome to listen!
- Description: If you play an instrument and know 3 or 300 tunes, you are welcome to pull up a chair and join in. Or just be part of the conversation between tunes!
