2025-26 Appeal

Thank you!

Your support helps us provide life-changing services regardless of the family's ability to pay.

At our Wheeling and Steubenville rehabilitation centers, in homes throughout Northern Panhandle, and in many schools across the Ohio Valley, Easterseals therapists are working hard to ensure children with developmental delays and disabilities get the therapies they need to thrive.

For the past three years, JS, shown in the photo, has worked with our therapists to improve her communication and develop fine and gross motor skills. She now communicates her wants and needs using a device, and this year she started using a special gait trainer to take assisted steps. She learns alongside her typical peers at school. With assistance, she cheers, plays Miracle League ball, and dances at Oglebay Institute. Her life is full.

In addition to outpatient pedicatric medical rehabilitation services, Easterseals continues to provide medical services for children with disabilities and developmental delays. Our new medical director, Dr. David Mosman, and Physician Assistant Amanda Mosman are meeting the high demand for behavioral services and autism diagnoses. Dr. Jason Edinger continues to provide physical medicine and rehabilitation services.

Thank you for making a donation to our annual appeal so we can continue to provide these life-changing services.

If you would rather send a check, you can make it out to Easterseals, write "Appeal" on the memo line, and mail or drop off to 1305 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003.
