For the last fourteen years, Aerie Experiences has cared for and changed the lives of children (and their families) with complicated diagnoses and histories. Aeries specializes in children with complex neurobiological diagnoses (autism, LD, OCD, ADHD, etc.) coupled with developmental trauma.

This means we work with kids facing what is effectively a double whammy. First, our kids perceive and interact with the world differently than societal/cultural "norms." Second, our kids come to us with developmental trauma. The developmental trauma is negative changes in the brain caused by events or a series of experiences that interrupt the child's ability to successfully achieve developmental benchmarks. As a result of this coupling of complicated diagnoses and developmental trauma, the kids all too frequently become enmeshed in a self-perpetuating cycle that interferes with their ability to safely and happily participate in being a child.

All donations are tax deductible. 85% of all donations go directly to children's scholarships. Aerie will match another 115%, meaning your donation is doubled towards a child's tuition or supportive year-round services.
