Why Washers and Dryers Matter

Absenteeism due to a lack of clean clothing is an often-overlooked issue in schools, disproportionately affecting families facing financial hardship. Students who don’t have access to clean uniforms often miss school due to embarrassment or bullying, putting them at a disadvantage both academically and socially.

Through the Gentle Care Program, we install washers and dryers in local schools, enabling students to:
