The mission of Fostering Hope is connecting and enriching youth who live in residential treatment and foster care with unique experiences of hope and healing. Our programming is built on three pillars, trauma-informed health and wellness, typical childhood experiences, and community involvement. Our impact can be felt through Sasha's story.

New to foster care, Sasha is on a journey she didn't ask for. In fact, Sasha hasn't asked for many things lately and doesn't know who she can share her hopes and wishes with. Fostering Hope helps her see that her wishes, big and small, can come true.

When Sasha met her caseworker, a Fostering Hope Journey Bag was waiting for her with a new blanket, toiletries, and a place to carry her things. When Sasha was about to turn 12, Fostering Hope asked her what she wished for. Fostering Hope's volunteer delivered it, wrapped with a bow, for her birthday.

It's the little things that give us hope. Help us give Sasha and other youth in foster care hope.

$60 gives a birthday present to kids like Sasha and $175 provides a Journey Bag duffel complete with a new blanket, pillow, lovey, journal, crayons, and a toiletry kit.
