Story
Emery is a silly, caring, and fun-loving kid who is full of determination.
The oldest of three boys, he loves wrestling with his brothers on their trampoline, watching Disney movies, and going out with his family to eat his favorite meal – burger and fries! His family describes him as the most precious gift that they are madly in love with and have dedicated their lives to making his life the best possible.
Emery has Down Syndrome (Trisomy 21).
Emery’s diagnosis impacts his life in many ways. Everyday activities like going to new or crowded places, walking long distances, transitioning to bath time, and sleeping through the night are filled with challenges.
Emery’s family has partnered with Good Dog to provide him with an extraordinary pup to improve his quality of life. He is waiting to be matched to his service dog, who will be trained to help him by:

About Good Dog! Service Canines
Good Dog! Autism Companions was founded in 2011 by the parents of an autistic boy. After getting a service dog for their son, they soon realized the life-changing benefits these dogs could provide to so many more. Today, Good Dog! Service Canines provides highly trained service dogs to children with disabilities and their families, helping them live better lives! Each dog is professionally trained using only positive reinforcement methods because we believe the true power of the human/canine bond is brought about through a loving, trusting relationship. Good Dog! Autism Companions, founded in 2011, has expanded its services to help more kids and families. We are now doing business as Good Dog! Service Canines. Thanks to all whose support let the love grow!
