As we approach Emily's 28th birthday on March 23rd, we remember her beautiful spirit and the incredible impact she continues to have through Emily’s Hope. In her honor, we’re setting a goal to raise $2,800 to support our new Youth Empowerment Clubs in Sioux Falls public and private high schools.
Emily’s Hope Youth Empowerment Clubs provide students with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to make healthy choices for a substance-free future. These clubs create a safe space for students to engage in meaningful conversations about prevention, mental health, and decision-making.
Funds raised will help make these meetings more engaging by providing snacks 🍿, refreshments 🥤, and interactive activities 🎲 —ensuring students feel welcome, motivated to participate, and inspired to support one another. A positive, fun environment encourages open discussions that can truly make a difference in their lives.
But why $2,800? Each dollar represents a year of the precious life we celebrate and honor - Emily's life. It's a tribute to her memory and a beacon of hope for many young individuals striving for recovery and leadership.
By investing in these young lives, we are creating a future where students feel empowered to make choices that protect their health and well-being. Every gift, big or small, makes a difference.
Thank you for keeping Emily’s hope alive. 💜
Emily’s Hope is dedicated to removing the stigma of substance use disorder through awareness, education, and prevention; and removing financial barriers for treatment and recovery.
